Homemade Flavored Coffee Creamers

INGREDIENTS

  • Base:

14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1-3/4 cup milk, half-and-half, or cream

  • Flavors:
  1. French Vanilla: 2 tsp vanilla extract OR vanilla coffee syrup
  2. Vanilla Bean: 2 tsp vanilla bean paste
  3. Chocolate: 2 to 3 tbsp chocolate syrup; 1 tsp vanilla extract, optional
  4. Chocolate Almond: 1 tbsp cocoa powder; 1 tsp almond extract
  5. Strudel: 1 tbsp cinnamon; 1 tsp vanilla extract; 1 tsp almond extract
  6. Vanilla Caramel: 2 tbsp caramel ice cream topping; 2 tsp vanilla extract
  7. Chocolate Raspberry: 2 tsp cocoa powder; 2 tbsp raspberry syrup
  8. Irish Cream: 2 tbsp chocolate syrup; 1 tsp instant coffee; 1 to 2 tsp vanilla extract; 1 tsp almond extract
  9. Coconut: 2 tsp coconut extract
  10. Peppermint Patty: 2 tbsp chocolate syrup; 1 tsp peppermint extract
  11. Cinnamon Vanilla: 2 tsp cinnamon; 2 tsp vanilla extract
  12. Pumpkin Spice: 3 tbsp puree-ed pumpkin; 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice; 4 tbsp maple syrup; 1 tsp vanilla extract
  13. Honey Vanilla: 1/4 cup honey; 2 tsp vanilla extract
  14. Almond Joy: 1 to 2 tsp coconut extract; 1 tsp almond extract; 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
  15. Chocolate Orange: 2 tbsp chocolate syrup; 1 to 2 tsp orange extract
  16. Hazelnut: 2 tsp hazelnut extract
  17. Chocolate Hazelnut: 2 tbsp chocolate syrup; 2 tsp hazelnut extract
  18. Cinnamon Cake: 2 tsp cinnamon; 2 tsp vanilla extract
  19. Salted Caramel: 2 to 3 tbsp caramel ice cream topping; 1/2 tsp salt
  20. Toasted Almond: 2 tsp almond extract

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Mix the ingredients together well.
  2. Add them to a mason jar.
  3. Shake it vigorously to combine it.

Notes:  In all these recipes, anything that has a dry or thick ingredient (like cinnamon, honey, etc..) should be heated up with a small amount of your milk/cream from the base recipe so it can dissolve properly.  Then, add the rest of the milk/cream along with the sweetened condensed milk.

If you want really creamy creamer, use heavy cream instead of milk in your base recipe.

You’ll want to stick a piece of tape on they mason jar lid with the expiration date from the milk used. Use this as a guideline as to when the creamer should be used by.  Remember, it’s only going to be as good as what you use.  Cheap vanilla flavoring is not vanilla extract.
